The Santa Cruz based Beach Cowboys play high-energy, bluesy rock and roll, R&B, and funky country rock. Known for a danceable, upbeat sound, the group features classic rock and blues covers. The Santa Cruz staple was co-founded in 1998 by bassist Sammy Roye—who learned his first bass lesson from Jerry Garcia.
